Week of 4/6

Welcome to week 3 of learning from home!

This week we will start new lessons and learning. Everything you need is in Google Classroom and on my blog. Make sure you look at the Classwork tab in your Google Classroom, as well as the Stream. Email me with any questions. I will be available to help.

Be patient this week, as we are all figuring this new format of learning. Take breaks when you need to and get outside!

Hello Families

I hope you are all doing well and managing the new life situations. I know my family is struggling to adjust and working to make a schedule to find balance. Please reach out if you need anything. I can try to help you access resources you may need with the help of the administrators.

I will try to have this blog be the hub of the information that I email and post in Google Classroom. That way, you don’t have to continually search for emails, as there has been an abundance, if not more.

My twitter feed will be a way that I represents what the students are doing if they send me pictures. If you have an account, I am Mrs. Ellingson, or feel free to tweet a photo at me @MrsEsClass.

MBS teachers have a virtual faculty meeting Monday morning. Then I will be in touch later Monday to let you know what my “Office Hours” are and how I can connect virtually or through email, with the class and your child to support their learning and class social connections.

I miss all the kiddos! Please let them know I will be getting in touch with them soon.
Take care and be well!
Kate Ellingson

First Day of School

Welcome 3rd Grade Families,

I have my new blog set up and ready to go! Here are a couple pictures from the first “Osprey” gathering. The MBS mascot is an osprey, named Oscar. He flew in to meet the third graders on the first day of school. Enjoy the pictures! I will be adding more to the blog in the coming weeks. I hope you had a great long weekend!-Mrs. E.
